Parkside Homes receives Exemplary Care Award

A licensure and certification resurvey was completed for Parkside on October 22, 2003. Parkside Homes was found to be in full compliance with all licensure and certification requirements. In addition on November 13, 2003, Kansas Department on Aging noted that Parkside implemented quality care programs which have resulted in exemplary positive resident care and quality of life outcomes. Parkside's exemplary program achievements include: 1) The development and implementation of a care management program resulting in the highest degree of skin integrity for residents; and 2) The development of creative methods for meeting the nutritional needs and personal food preferences of residents.
